Giving Credit Where Credit is Due

Just a little thing, but can someone advise me about crediting icons:  if I snag an icon from someone that has posted them on a comm, how do I actually go about crediting it in an acceptable manner?  I've only ever taken a few, mainly because I can't work out how to do this ... and I feel guilty if I ever use them!  I got three .gif icons from photobucket funnyicons yesterday, but - although I just used them - I'm having a major guilt trip without the crediting thingy.

I'd also love some Bonesy .gif moodicons, but don't know where to look .. any suggestions, or do people make them for themselves?

Concerning icon credit: When I upload a new icon, I put "made by XY" into the "comment" section of the upload box - the result looks like this. You can also edit old icons to add credit in the same way.

I'm using shadedcolor's mood theme, which is really pretty - you can get it here.

Thank you so much! I've been in and credited all my icons now ... I feel so much better about it! *big sigh of relief* :) And thanks, too, for the link to shadecolor's mood theme - wonderful, and very pretty! Can't wait to try and load them! <3 ETA proper-like spellingness!

I credit iconmakers the same way fourth_rose does -- that's how TT told me to do it, so it seems to be the consensus!
