Comment with "Hit me, Meegs!"
• I'll respond by asking you five questions so I can get to know you better.
• Update your journal with the answers to the questions.
• Include this explanation in the post and offer to ask other people questions.

1. Is the inside of your car tidy or messy?

Right this minute?  Ack - messy, messy, messy.  Amongst my personal collection of around a gazillion cloth shopping bags (because I seem to end up buying a new one every time I go to the shops) I actually have rattling around in the back:  some non-perishable groceries (for my mum - the facility where she lives is in lock down because of a nasty bug going around so I can't visit her just yet); a stuffed parrot (a homeless mascot from a team thing I was in recently); a horse blanket (waiting to be returned to a friend - I don't have a horse btw); a black satin corselet (from  a costume thing I went to recently); four umbrellas (its rains a lot here) and a large jar of coins that I keep forgetting to take to the bank.  And lots of dog hair.

2. If money were no object (and your hubby agreed to move with you), where would you live?

Location:  right where I am.  Actual house: something bigger with a studio actually attached to central heating on some nice FLAT ground, not on a 45 degree slope, with somewhere to home a rescue donkey (seriously - when I left my job in Sydney everyone pooled together and gave me cash... for a donkey.  Along with a stuffed donkey. And a lazy susan cheese platter set - go figure!  I still have the cash rolled up in the bottom of a soapstone vase.  One day I'll have a donkey!!)  Of course we'd also have a Lear jet so I could go anywhere in the world at a moment's notice.  I'd like that.

3. How did you meet your best friend?

I was really lonely when we moved down here at first, so I though I'd join a club or something.  I saw an article in our local rag about a very talented girl who made porcelain dolls and was President of the Hobart Doll Club.  I had been making cloth dolls (the weirdo artsy fartsy kind) for a few years, and a good friend in Sydney also made porcelain dolls so it seemed like it might be something I could do that had a bit of a connection to my old life.  The girl in the article became my best friend.  She is like my sister - we are partners in crime and get up to all sorts of mischief and we often scratch our heads and wonder what we did without each other before we met.

4. When did you know T was The One?

The first moment I saw him.  Really.  I was working in London as the meet-and-greet girl for Top Deck Tours, and selling air tickets outside Australia House and he was in the travel industry and he walked into my office and I was .. just ..gone.  I still am (and I have now officially been married longer than I was single!)  My heart still beats faster whenever I even think of him.

5. If you were on death row, what would you order for your last meal?

Hot and crispy KFC because I secretly love it and publicly bag it big time and rarely ever eat it.  Who cares about fat grams if you're gonna die?  Oh, and Lindt balls - the milk, dark and white chocolate mixed box - but that really goes without saying, doesn't it?
